Pre-College & Summer Programs

Pre-Collegiate Programs are incredible opportunities for students to experience residential college life and possibly earn college credit. Opportunities range from taking an English class to Acting to Archaeology.  In addition to Pre-Collegiate programs, many schools and companies offer summer programs or career exploration experiences. These programs are an exciting opportunity to explore potential career paths and/or make connections for later in life. Please take a look at the attached opportunities. Note that this is not an exhaustive list and we will be updating the list as new opportunities arise.

Exploring St. Louis
Exploring is a career exploration program for students 14-20 years old. Exploring pairs students directly with local companies and organizations for career exploration. Youth participate in unique, real-life opportunities to experience various career fields.

Volunteer and Internship Opportunities

St. Louis CAPS
Students have the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on work experience in professional work environments that relate to their academic and career interests, and prepares them for future jobs. The program is also designed to provide employers an opportunity to guide and evaluate future talent. Internships can take a variety of forms including short-stays or project-based, semester-long or summer opportunities. St. Louis CAPS strives to tailor a program that is mutually beneficial for their business partners and students.

Music Recording @ Webster University

Students will learn the basics of writing for the movies and TV, including screenplay formatting, storytelling structure, character development and more! ​

Filmmaking @ Webster University 
​Learn to plan, shoot and edit a short film by participating in each facet of production.
