Aesthetic Education Program
On any given day, you can find a literature class relating a painting to their latest novel; a physics class studying the science behind a musical instrument’s workings; or a geometry class visiting the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park to see firsthand how the parallelogram inspired the famed architect's design.
The Aesthetic Education Program at Nerinx Hall, unique among high schools, offers students an interdisciplinary perspective on course content. It’s an exchange of ideas and expertise across disciplines that teaches students to integrate insights from all areas of knowledge. The program also fosters a broader base from which to solve problems using experiential learning, critical inquiry, and peer collaboration.
