Nerinx students are exposed to an expansive arts curriculum. Freshmen choose a one-semester fine arts course – Art Fundamentals, Beginning Chorus, Introduction to Theatre, or Beginning Instrumental Ensemble. Students can further explore the arts through a variety of electives during their sophomore through senior years.

MUSIC

The music program at Nerinx Hall offers students many options for study and performance, in classes and beyond. Instrumentalists may participate in wind ensemble and orchestra. Many of our vocalist and instrumentalists participate in district and state ensembles and contests.  Students perform in the annual Christmas and Spring Concerts.

Joining the Nerinx Hall music program is a great way for a student to express herself in a supportive, nurturing environment.

THEATRE

Whether acting and dancing onstage or designing and built sets backstage, theatre comes to life for Nerinx Hall students. Each year, students perform in two musicals, a freshmen- and sophomores-only play (aptly called Froshmore), and a spring play.

Nerinx Hall offers a robust visual arts curriculum.  Students can explore a variety of artistic media from ceramics to oil painting to photography.
