Can’t decide where to go? According to College Counselor, Joanne Korte Elliott, “Students need to remember that they can be happy in more than one place. This is true for most of life’s decisions. You can love more than one house you buy, be successful in more than one job, or be equally happy with either car you choose to purchase.”

Housing Info
Once admitted, the next step is to consider housing. Most schools will ask students to submit a housing deposit to ‘hold’ a spot at that school. It is acceptable to commit to housing at more than one school, since your final decision on where to attend isn’t required until May 1. But always pay attention to any and all deadlines and most importantly, refund information.
Scholarship Opportunities
Many new scholarship opportunities will become available in January and February from outside/community organizations. Check the Nerinx College Counseling website for scholarship databases such as www.goingmerry.com.
