The members of the English department are happy to announce the summer reading selections for the 2023-2024 academic year. See the listing and links to information pages below.
These books will appear on the required book list for each grade level, and students must have a physical copy of their grade level book. Please consider purchasing books from friends, used books stores, or local independent books stores. The Novel Neighbor offers Nerinx families a 20% discount on Nerinx required summer reading books. Please purchase print editions of books.
After taking a short reading quiz on one of the first days of school in August, students will do related activities in English classes. Students need to bring summer reading books to school with their other required textbooks in August.
