Watch out Dancing with the Stars! Last Friday was definitely a show-stopper as students and faculty celebrated Hey Day, a time-honored tradition where upperclass women officially welcome freshmen into the Nerinx community.
The day was filled with fun and spirit-filled opportunities for freshmen to bond with each class — with one common theme...dancing! Members of the Class of 2025 joined with juniors to dance mashup numbers together while sophomores decorated freshmen lockers. During the locker unveiling, sophomores broke out in a flash mob! And last but not least, the day concluded with a pep rally followed by the senior dances, freshmen receiving their beanies and reciting the beanie pledge, and the singing of the Alma Mater. A fantastic day all around!
