GSU is a friendly competition to support a common mission. Participating schools are Cor Jesu Academy, Incarnate Word Academy, Nerinx Hall, Notre Dame High School, St. Joseph’s Academy, Ursuline Academy, Visitation Academy, and Villa Duchesne. GSU runs from midnight Tuesday, May 5^th, 2026 – 11:59 PM, Thursday, May 7^th, 2026. During GSU, make an impact by giving to the Nerinx Fund. Alumnae gifts (classes 1940-2025) will count toward class competition and overall alumnae participation percentage will help decide the winning school. Nerinx has won the competition 4 out of the last 5 years!

GSU will be held on May 5-7, 2026.

During GSU, your Nerinx Fund gift not only helps Nerinx students but it also helps fuel your class participation percentage and contributes to Nerinx overall totals. The school with the highest percent of alumnae participation wins bragging rights!

Nerinx Hall is blessed to have an alumnae base of over 8,000 contactable alumnae. This means it takes at least 80 Nerinx alumnae making a gift to the Nerinx Fund for us to move 1%. The GSU competitions have been extremely close each year so every gift counts! We need the participation of all of our Marker alumnae. Remind your classmates, friends and family members to make their gift during GSU!

While you are welcome to make multiple gifts throughout the three-day period, due to competition rules when reporting the information, each alumna will be counted only once.

As an alumnae parent/grandparent, you are encouraged to support Nerinx during this important initiative. However, due to competition rules only gifts from alumna will be counted toward the alumnae participation percentage that drive the competition results.

Yes! Please call us at 314.968.1505 x196 or email our team at advancement@nerinxhs.org. Thank you for letting us know in advance so we can count your gift toward GSU.

Yes! There are two ways to do this:

1.    You can make a DAF gift online. Click the give now button and fill in the required fields. At the bottom of the page, select DAFpay and follow the instructions to log into your DAF. Once the amount is confirmed, we will receive a notification that your DAF gift is on the way. You don’t need to do anything else and your DAF gift will automatically get applied to the class participation percentage.

2.    Contact your financial institution to request the DAF gift and include “Nerinx Hall GSU”. Let our team know at advancement@nerinxhs.org of the gift and we will add it into the GSU totals and class participation percentage.

In addition to debit and credit cards, you can make your gift using PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, GooglePay, ApplePay or via your DAF.

If you have already given to Nerinx Hall this year, thank you for your gift. We encourage you to participate in GSU and support Nerinx with an additional gift. Only gifts made May 5 – 7 will count toward GSU totals. Your additional gift will inspire others to give!
