Graduation will be here before you know it!
With graduation already on the horizon, we’re sharing these important dates at the start of the school year to give seniors and families plenty of time to plan for the celebrations and milestones ahead. The at-a-glance table below includes the key dates we know now, with additional details further down the page. We’ll continue to update this page and add information throughout the year, so be sure to check back as graduation approaches.

Graduation Ticket Pick-Up | April
Each student will receive 10 tickets. Every guest requires a ticket, regardless of age. Mrs. Roche will distribute tickets in the front office in April. Students will sign to verify that the tickets were received and the number of tickets accurate. In the spring, a form to request additional tickets will be opened.
If families are not using all the tickets, please return them to Mrs. Roche as soon as possible so that she may give them to others who would like them. Under no circumstances should tickets be sold.
These tickets will be dispersed in the fairest manner possible. Do not lose tickets. Please keep them in a safe place and make sure guests have them on the evening of graduation. Lost tickets cannot not be replaced.
Graduation Cap and Gown Handout | TBD
- Seniors will try gowns on with Jostens representative to assure proper sizing.
- Gowns should be hung up and may be steamed on low, but NOT ironed.
- Be sure to try it on with your dress and shoes before graduation.
- Remember, your dress cannot show through the gown. Shoes should be walkable-the stage is huge!
Donuts & Decisions | April 30
Seniors will celebrate their university/college decision during Activity Period with donuts and their college shirt or colors paired with their Nerinx uniform bottom. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Sumpter or Mrs. Coffey.

Class Day | May 14
Seniors will celebrate Class Day on May 8 from 7:55 – 10:00 a.m. Dismissal for Seniors is promptly at 10 a.m. Class day is considered a school day- all attendance and behavioral expectations apply.
Senior Exams | May 17-19

Graduation Practice | TBD
More information is coming soon. Practice is required for all Seniors.
Baccalaureate Mass | May 20
Mass will begin at 6 p.m. in the Nerinx Gym. Only parents/guardians and graduate may attend. Graduates should wear white gown, green sash and cords (as applicable). Caps are not worn.
Seniors, please bring a flower that is meaningful or representative of yourself that will be part of the procession.
There is open seating for parents/guardians.
Light colored apparel under gown is recommended. Wear shoes you can walk comfortably in. Please no food, drink, cell phones, or gum.

Students will enter through the side door off of 14th street. (See map below, indicated with a red circle.) Students will assemble in the Ballroom of Stifel Theater and stay there until the procession.
- No guests or family members are allowed in the Ballroom of Stifel Theater.
- Parking is available in Kiel garage. Patrons can enter off Clark Street.
- Your belongings will be secured during the ceremony- this includes cellphones.
- Required: light-colored clothes under your cap and gown.
- No food, gum, or drinks. Water will be provided.
ALL guests regardless of age must have a ticket to enter- be sure to give them to your guests before you come.
The Nerinx Hall Graduation Ceremony will be livestreamed on Facebook beginning Friday, May 15 beginning at 5:55 p.m.
Handicap parking is available. Email Mrs. Dubose if you need more info on this.
Handicap seating will be available throughout the theater. Stifel staff can assist with this once guests arrive.

Spirit Shop – Graduation and Party Supplies
Celebrating the Class of 2027 will be here before we know it! The Nerinx Spirit Shop will offer a full assortment of graduation supplies, party essentials and gifts to help you celebrate your senior. Be sure to visit the Graduation and Party section of the online Spirit Shop in the weeks leading up to graduation, when you’ll find the best selection of Class of 2027 items. New items will be added throughout the year, so check back as graduation gets closer!
SPIRIT SHOP HOURS:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Open Campus Information
Open Campus is offered as a privilege to qualified seniors. It is a program consistent with the Nerinx Hall philosophy that encourages students to develop independence, self-confidence, and responsibility for personal decisions and the use of time.

Open Campus privileges will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and continue through the last regular day of the school for seniors: May 13, 2027.

Applications open August 24 and are due at 3:05pm on Tuesday, September 1.
