Testing Center

The Testing Center is located in the Lockwood House, in L1.

The Testing Center (TC) is here to help you make up a test, if you are sick or absent.  It also helps students who need accommodations.

Calendly is the system we use for students to sign up to schedule a test in the TC.  Here is the TC link you need to use to sign up for a test.  Please bookmark this page.  

Testing Center Guidelines

• Scheduling: Students must schedule a test at least 24 hours in advance—no exceptions. Walk-ins are not allowed unless requested by a teacher under extenuating circumstances.
• Reminders & Confirmations: Students will receive a confirmation email, from Calendly, plus email reminders 1 day, 1 hour and 15 minutes before their scheduled test time.
• Missing Tests: If a student arrives and their test has not been submitted to the TC, please reach out to your teacher and reschedule.
• Lunch Period Policy: No make-up tests or quizzes will be given during 3rd period (lunch). The Testing Center is closed during this time, except for students with accommodations testing at the same time as their class.

Hours

• Monday through Friday during the school day. NO TESTING during lunch block.
• Before School Testing is available Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m.
• The Testing Center is closed daily during the third period, except for students with accommodations who are taking the test at the same time as the rest of the class during that period.
• After School Testing is Monday through Thursday 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Library (Please Note: No test will be given to a student after 4 p.m.

Testing Center Policies

• Students must sign up to take a test in the Testing Center.
• Students are encouraged to sign up as soon as they plan to take a test.
• You must sign up 24 hours before you want to take the test. 
• Bring photo identification.
• Keep all electronic devices in your backpack.
• Only teacher-approved devices and materials are allowed on the desk during testing
• Teacher specific guidelines are followed. No exceptions.
• Use the bathroom before testing. Bathroom and water breaks are not allowed
• To cancel or reschedule a sign up, refer to the confirmation email.  At the bottom of the email, click cancel or reschedule and follow the instructions.  If it is less than 24 hours before the scheduled sign up, email pbieg@nerinxhs.org. Failure to do so will result in an ‘Off The Mark’.
• You may not sign up to take more than one gateway a day.  If you sign up for more than one gateway, you will receive an ‘off the mark’. 
• Remember to take into consideration green and white activity club dates, field trips, and class masses before signing up.
